The first phase of Grove Street delivers 89 social rent apartments, comprising 37 one-bedroom and 52 two-bedroom homes. This milestone marks the beginning of the wider regeneration programme and provides former residents with the opportunity to return to a neighbourhood that has been completely reimagined for modern living.
The detailed design of the next phase of the Grove Street development is currently progressing. This phase will deliver the remainder of the replacement social rent homes in addition to more affordable homes currently proposed to be for rent to buy.
It is currently expected that the further phases of the development will be delivered in three phases. Phases 3, 4 & 5 will deliver a mixture of apartments for rent to buy and private rent along with some larger houses which it is expected will be development for outright sale.
Beyond housing delivery, Grove Street is helping create a stronger, greener and more connected community. The programme includes improved public spaces, communal gardens, accessible homes and ongoing resident engagement to support successful neighbourhood growth.
