Project Risk Management

We regard risk management as an integral part of quality assurance. Project level identification, mitigation and management starts with the development of a tailored risk register and matrix for each project. Each risk registers is produced in partnership with our clients.

Environmental Policy

M&Y prioritises environmental responsibility, striving for excellence in environmental, health, and safety practices. Our leadership, including the Managing Director and Managers, is dedicated to upholding environmental legislation and embracing efficient methods for continuous improvement and pollution prevention. This commitment is shared internally and externally, accessible to staff, suppliers, contractors, and the public upon request. We seamlessly integrate environmental impact assessment into our "new business" approach, reflecting our dedication to sustainable operations.

Quality Assurance

Our QMS is accredited to ISO 9001. This is part of our integrated management system, which includes health and safety and environmental management systems, which are accredited to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001. Our ‘top down’ approach reinforces the importance of our quality standards, meaning that all our staff are fully on board. This ensures that the service that we deliver to our customers is of the highest quality.

Business Risk Management

We have a range of strategic mechanisms to manage risk across our organisation. The overarching framework for risk management is controlled via our dedicated risk management software, Pentana. The system automatically rates risk at raw and residual stages, and monitors causes, effects and control measures.

Wellbeing

Explore our pioneering mental health program, a hallmark of our maintenance and construction leadership. In collaboration with Chasing the Stigma, our Ofqual-accredited Ambassadors of Hope training offers a concise 20-minute course, enhancing mental health awareness and Hub of Hope app utilisation. Integrated on work smartphones, the app provides quick access to an extensive UK-wide mental health support network. Trust our trained mental health first aiders for confidential assistance, reaffirming our dedication to workplace well-being.
