M&Y Maintenance and Construction has been awarded the accolade of ‘Considerate Constructor’, scoring a fantastic 41 out of 45 for our development of Grove Street in Liverpool.

We have been busy on-site building 89 high-quality homes for social rent, affordable rent, private rent, rent to buy and outright sale on behalf of The Regenda Group. These homes make up phase 1 of a 304-unit development.

The Code of Considerate Practice is awarded by the Considerate Constructors Scheme and represents the high standards the industry can and should achieve, encouraging constructors to work responsibly and respectfully. The code looks at the appearance of the site and focuses on three key sections: respecting the community, caring for the environment, and valuing the workforce.

We are passionate about these areas, so it’s great to be recognised for our work to create a brighter future for our communities!

Chris Mellor, Director of Construction at M&Y, said: “Well done to the team for this result, I am particularly proud of the 15/15 score for the ‘Value their Workforce’ section demonstrating our excellent standards when providing a safe a supportive workplace for our site teams and our valued supply chain.

Gill Kelly, Managing Director of M&Y, said: “The Grove Street Development is an exciting project, I’m really pleased we’ve been recognised as a Considerate Constructor. We’re committed to supporting People, Place and Planet and we will continue to build on this success and involve communities where we are working.
