M&Y Joins Jigsaw Homes Group for Critical Repairs and Voids

We are thrilled to announce our latest partnership, as M&Y Maintenance and Construction secures a coveted spot on Jigsaw Homes Group’s Disrepair Works, Major Voids & Major Repairs Framework. This collaboration will see us providing essential services across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, and Merseyside, with projects ranging up to and exceeding £2.26 million over the next two years.

Elevating Void Services

One aspect of our service that we take immense pride in is our Void Management. Steve Denny, our Responsive and Void Delivery Manager, shares his enthusiasm for this critical role: “One of the things I like most about working in voids is the variety. Every property is different and needs different things to make it a home. We take care to ensure that the property is handed back to the client looking brand new. And the great thing about our service is that we’re fast and flexible to the needs of our clients. Our average turnaround time for properties is 12 days, and we work quickly and effectively to help our clients get the house back into use as soon as possible, minimizing void rent loss and maximizing income.”

Jigsaw Homes Group’s Business & Procurement Manager, Jason Pears, emphasizes the importance of swift and efficient repairs: “We own and manage more than 35,000 homes, so making sure repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently, and our residents are satisfied is a top priority. Turning void properties around is also key to making sure we can get people into much-needed housing as soon as possible, and we are confident that M&Y will provide us with a high-quality service.”
