At M&Y Maintenance and Construction, we’re dedicated to fostering local collaboration and empowering communities. Recently, we took a significant step in this direction by hosting a Meet the Buyer event for our highly-anticipated New Ferry development. The event, which took place on the 7th of July at the New Ferry Village Hotel, brought together key stakeholders, including partners from Wirral Council and our colleagues from The Regenda Group, The Learning Foundry.
The New Ferry redevelopment initiative is set to breathe new life into the area, delivering more than 70 new properties, revitalizing open spaces, and enhancing the local high street. In its inaugural phase, we’re gearing up to construct 34 one and two-bedroom apartments along Bebington Road and Boundary Road, with construction slated to commence in the autumn of 2023.
Our Construction Director, Chris Mellor, took the lead at this event, emphasizing the significant potential that the New Ferry regeneration project holds for the community. He highlighted the vital role of local suppliers in collectively making a lasting, positive impact in the area.
The Meet the Buyer event served as a platform for local businesses and suppliers to connect with our project team. By fostering partnerships with local talent and resources, we aim to create a collaborative ecosystem that will drive the success of this transformative project.
